12 Angry Men movie review

12 Angry Men starts quietly in the courtroom, where the characters the movie revolves around appear as the case of the son who killed his father is being discussed.

The jury meets to discuss points of this case and reach a final decision, which must be unanimous among the twelve jurors.

Initially, the only prevailing belief is a firm conviction that he is guilty because there are multiple pieces of evidence against him, along with the testimonies of more than one witness, making it highly likely, by a significant margin, that he committed this heinous crime.

The jury witnesses the case firsthand, the son is likely guilty, and there is no need to argue the crime because it is as clear as the sun rising.

But... there is someone who believes that this son deserves a fair trial and has reasonable suspicion that he committed the crime.

From this point on, the movie's struggle begins, as this person stands alone against the ridicule of the eleven jurors, trying to convince them that this son might not be guilty.

Twelve Angry Jurors reflects real-life people, showing their different tendencies, goals, principles, and ways of thinking.

It depends on showing the depth of these characters through their different reactions to this issue, which becomes more complicated the more they delve into its details. It was simple and easy at first, but each character becomes trapped in a narrow corner as they watch their direct beliefs gradually collapse in front of the revealed facts and the deep thought with which the issue is addressed. This adds a very exciting element to the movie, making it one of the most enjoyable films that you don't get tired of watching over and over.

Crucial issues in our world must be addressed with great precision and careful consideration of their aspects, leaving personal factors out of judgment.

The phrase angry men carries a strong connotation here, and in my humble opinion, it reflects the level of pressures they face in life and in this specific situation.

The difference between personalities here is a natural factor that led to different ways of thinking, as it caused each of them to see the nature of the matter differently, and each cared about different details in this crime.

Twelve Angry Men is one of the greatest crime movies of all time, and surprisingly, it has no crime scenes.

12 Angry Men (1957) movie: one of the ten greatest films of all time

Despite the year the movie was made, it has maintained its position among the top ten movies in history, which reflects the life value it offers us. We must not simply overlook the lives of others or harbor the blind bias that exists in many people. Humanity must recognize that some people deserve to be highlighted and approached with kindness and interest so that we do not lose our humanity, which sets us apart from many creatures.
