the rip storyline
The Rip tells the story of a group of officers from a specific department, led by a female officer who is murdered for unknown reasons. They are then put to the test on an extraordinary mission when they discover that their assignment involves a large sum of money that they must protect and deliver to their superiors. However, greed begins to surface, and alliances form to seize this prize.
From here, the events unfold, secrets and mysteries emerge, and a climate of distrust develops among the officers. Certain truths are revealed, including the existence of someone who caused their leader's death and is now trying to steal the money.

point of view
When I learned there were two stars in the film, I felt my expectations would be disappointed and that it wouldn't live up to them. But as the film began and time passed, I started to think it was heading toward something big, that I was in for some exciting surprises. However, by the end, I threw all that aside.
The film wasn't bad, we have to admit, but it was on the verge of exploding into more complex plot twists. Then it suddenly stalled, relying on a simple trick to expose the traitor. It wasn't bad at all, but it was rather naive.
So why were there two such big stars in a film like this? I really didn't know. The acting was good but not dazzling, and the action wasn't very enjoyable. Only the concept, the mystery, and the trick truly shone.
The idea of having $20 million in a house, with everyone waiting to see how he would seize this prize, was not properly invested and was not managed in a way that would raise the film's stock.
Lack and confusion
The film lacked creativity at every stage. It seemed to have no further ambition; none of the characters possessed any real charisma. Even the suspicions about individuals were completely unfounded; suspicion permeated every voice, and every glance held an unanswered question.
Even at the climax, I wondered when the film would truly impress me. The pacing was unpromising, with no sharp, profound, or inspiring climaxes. The result was rather mediocre.
My confusion stemmed not from the sheer number of suspicions surrounding each character but from the fact that this team knew each other so well and had undoubtedly faced similar situations before. How could they so easily lose their trust in one another, even if their leader, Dane, had done so intentionally?
The presence of a cell phone with the traitor was surprising, as if no one had noticed it at all. Then came the fabricated fight to steal this phone from him. Did they know from the beginning that he had it, or did they suspect it belonged to him specifically when it fell? There was certainly no evidence that it was his phone. Otherwise, let me say, how naive!!
The excessive support for suspicions surrounding Commander Dane from the beginning may have the exact opposite effect, as this course is easily predictable. The viewer realizes that there is inevitably a surprise that goes against expectations. Therefore, the excessive raising of suspicions about Dane's character was not in the film's favor.
Additions that could change a lot
I could suggest some intriguing plot twists here to add more excitement, suspense, and mystery to the story. For example, it could be hinted that their leader, Jackie, wasn't entirely innocent; she was complicit in the money theft with the traitors but turned on them over a dispute about the spoils, leading to her murder.
Furthermore, a hidden figure could be introduced, guiding the traitorous officers. This figure would then intervene after their discovery to rescue the money and the traitors. This person could be an FBI agent, perhaps JD's brother, who tries to retrieve the money when they are all in the armored vehicle. They tell him it's not in their possession and is in a safe place, leading him to suspect they might have discovered him as well. He then reveals his true purpose, and the conflict escalates.
If we unleash our imagination, we will create many things that may add more excitement to the traditional story, which was very limited.
The movie's quality
was due to the tension in some situations, the potential for outright murder in certain scenes, and the callers telling them to come, which only heightened the tension.
The mystery surrounding the story, from the murder of team leader Jackie to the discovery of the traitor, is well-crafted and thought-provoking.
The dialogue is of reasonable quality, and the plot and events are fairly well connected.
However, the directing and cinematography were not up to par, and some scenes felt overly long.
The acting was average compared with the rest of the cast; you couldn't find a standout performance because the film didn't offer enough screen time or compelling scenes.
Ultimately, The Rip is a mediocre film in every respect. It could have been much better if the story hadn't been so overly straightforward.
